I shop at Tesco sometimebecause they carry stuff the others don't.
The shop at w Durrington is new and big with plenty of room to get about except when staff are collecting shopping to send out: sometimes there are as many as 5 in one aisle, generally at least 3 having a bit of a chat.
Now we have the self scan - what idiot put the scanner holder on the left hand side of the trolley handle?
I thought staff in the deli/meat/fish were supposed to wear aprons and wash hands in between different departments.
Why pile products high up where shorter customers cannot reach?
Why do the trolleys have to stand out in the pouring rain, and customers have to fiddle about with a pound coin?
Is there a problem finding a suitable locking device for the trolley cupboards by the coffee shop?
Bags in the greengrocery dept appear to be few and far between.
Why do goods get priced so that purchasing one large container seems to be cheaper than two small ones when it is not?
I could go on of course.
The staff are always very polite and helpful when approached and most display a very good knowledge of where everything is in the store.

I was in the above store yesterday 18th November and had the pleasure of meeting the new manager Neil. Thank goodness we have someone in the store who know's what he is doing. He is doing an excellant job. Keep up the good work Neil.

I was in Tesco Havant, Hants, with my wife who had an eye appointment. I went off to look at camaras as mine had just been ruined by saltwater and I spoke to Jeanette on the sales counter and she showed me the reduced items in the New Years sale. I bought a Sony Cybershot for £80. Reduced from £166. Bargain. A great camara and fantastic service from Jeanette.

Duty Managers are like that in most stores now. They do it BECAUSE THEY CAN and it makes them feel all high and mighty. Remember what goes up must come down and at some point they will get there comeuppance.

I looked on the internet to see the price on andrex 9 pack t.rolls and it said £3.75 on special offer .but when i got to redruth tesco extra they were £4.50 .
Why do the prices vary from the internet and from tesco to tesco redruth tesco is mostly cheaper than pool tesco extra.
